Advantum Product development includes both the Advantum platform and a pre-configuration that is intended to function as a product information system. What is included in this industry solution has been developed based on the long experience we have in this area in combination with our solid experience in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) area where we also have an integration with AutoCAD.
Use of this industry solution makes it easy and efficient to manage the complex relationship between product information and other general information such as project and quality information. Thanks to the built-in viewer, a user that does not have a drawing application installed on its computer can look at drawings.
Advantum Product development and its included pre-configuration is based on a proven management which makes it easy to structure associated information to product groups, products and articles which in turn makes it easy to work with, but quality is maintained at the same time.
If there is a need to manage files for SolidWorks, then this can be supplemented in your customer specific configuration where the starting point is our standard management for this. To make it easy to work with the structures there is of course an integration with SolidWorks.
It is possible to combine this industry solution with other pre-configurations if there is a need to manage different type of information than what is included in this industry solution. Thanks to the fact that Advantum is very flexible and configurable it also opens the possibility to quick and easy make any changes that are needed but still be within the scope of a standard product.
